Bill Buck brings big ideas and a mountain of experience to BuckDesign Communications. Creativity runs in the family. His 8-year old granddaughter Dabney, took this picture.
Prior to creating BuckDesign, Buck worked as a Senior Art Director at GCG Marketing in Fort Worth, and as Associate Creative Director at McStay-Regian Advertising and Public Relations, also in Fort Worth. He has won numerous awards for his creative efforts, including a Dallas Tops award for student entry for illustration, more than 150 local and district Addy awards, and several Printing Industries of America (PIA) for best in print for annual report design. He also won a First Place Award in “You be the Judge” for annual report design and a Bronze Quill Award for annual report design and published logo designs in Logo Lounge 2009.
Buck has been an adjunct professor at UNT and currently teaches a graphic arts class at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and conducts workshops for the Fine Arts Department at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth. He also serves on the board for Stage West Theater here in Fort Worth.
Outside of Advertising, Buck is an instructor for various high-speed driving events at race tracks all over Texas and points beyond. On a local level, he also helps organize and instruct Tire Rack Street Survival teen driving safety schools for the BMW Car Club of America Foundation.
